A blastocyst is an embryo that has developed for about five to six days after fertilization, reaching a stage where it consists of around 100-200 cells. Culturing embryos to the blastocyst stage allows embryologists to select the most viable embryos for transfer, increasing the chances of successful implantation and pregnancy.

Cryopreservation (Sperm, Embryos)
Sperm Cryopreservation involves freezing sperm cells, which can later be thawed and used for artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is often used by men who wish to preserve their fertility before undergoing treatments like chemotherapy, which may affect sperm quality, or for those who are at risk of losing their fertility due to medical conditions.
